Shah Trading Office Ahmedabad
The interiors of 600 sq feet office were supposed to be designed for a company named ‘Shah Trading’ The Designing here is conceived by using very basic materials, instrumentalized through the nucleus decision of balancing geometry and color play. The company is in pharma industries, manufacturers of pharmacy drugs. The brief was to create a corporate setup for 15 people, with a server room, pantry, and two toilets in a small-scale space. Apropos to the brief the space has been planned well to bring the connection with the hierarchy of spaces. The hues of grey delineate the rustic industrial material palette while the grids and straight-line geometry depict discipline and sophistication, the quality a pharmaceutical industry carries. The space visually connects with slim glass partitions yet is separated by the activities. The interiors are carefully crafted using wood, aluminum, glass, and grey stucco giving the whole space a snapshot of contemporary minimal setup. The floor is from grey terrazzo tile to blend the style of the space. The uniform color adds hues to the wholesome entity. The choosing of a particular color helped in the decision of tabletops of MD Cabin and Conference, from red spider marble. The ceiling kept raw with plaster finish, enhanced the space volumetrically, making it look bigger. Also the artwork and light have circular geometry to break the linearity in the overall entity. The use of colors and geometric proportions give the space a very subtle and minimal look.
